Hall to Hall Process

During our RingALife pre-event, we as Turtlebots will stop by every lecture hall to try our best to convince and persuade them as this was our last chance before we proceed to our event which falls on the 16th to 18th July 2014 in Canteen 2 Concourse.
As usual, before we enter the lecture halls, we politely asked and requested for the permission to enter the class. We usually request for a maximum of 10 minutes to share and present information’s of the event via multiple media such as verbal communication, self-made videos which is the RingALife video and flyers. Before we start talking about our event, we would try and grab their attention through various ways such as introduction, sharing the time and location of the event and revealing the final activity of the event which is lucky draw.
During the introduction, we introduce ourselves as a group and our roles in the event. Then, we will start off by sharing the time and location of our event by handing out flyers so that they could have a clearer picture of the event. Besides that, we have banners that we carry around which includes the time, date and venue of the event.  Having done that, we showed the RingALife video that we made on our own selves. This helps the audience to further understand our motive and objective of this event. Other than that, we also mentioned that there will be a lucky draw and we even revealed the main prize of the lucky draw which is the latest Smartphone. This only applies to those that donates unused gadget such as phones, laptops and tablets. We also mentioned that there are many other fun activities that also offer prizes accordingly other than the lucky draw.
During the presentation session, there are a lot of people try to make fun of our event by giving out some new ideas and responses on our event. There are people coming out new ideas such as should giving out more big prizes during the event and even there are people asked whether there are any celebrity coming to join the coming event. Throughout the hall to hall convince, we found that our RingALife event received a lot of good response from the respondents by saying “I heard of this event in the campus and I remember the RingALife logo”. Besides that, they are also people saying that our RingALife logo is nice. We as RingALife member would really appreciate the responses from those respondents and we will also take those respondents new ideas as consideration.
After our presentation, we spoke in a polite way by asking them to join our event during 16th to 18th July 2014, 9am to 5pm at TAR UC Canteen 2 concourse area. And, we will really appreciate if people could participant in our event on the event day.
