Nothing Stop Turtlebots From Saving Turtles!!!

Today is the last day for Ring A Life: Connecting Lives, Transforming Life campaign. As the previous post mentioned, a red emergency light “rang” up the TurtleBots and we are worried about the amount of the recycled phones/laptops/tablets would not able to hit target that we have  promised. Nevertheless, TurtleBots kick started theit turbo and did their best to collect the unwanted electronic gadgets at out-campus. TurtleBots’ fighting spirit is getting STRONGER than ever!!!

It is the last day of “Ring A Life” campaign, today’s result is far more better than the previous two days. TurtleBots are doing their best to “ring” more calls regarding the awareness of the conservation sea turtle in Malaysia as well as the knowledge of recycling unwanted electronic gadgets (phone/tablet/laptop).

Day 3, all the TurtleBots welcomed the working day by having a short briefing and rehearsal of closing ceremony as to ensure everything runs smoothly in the last day of the campaign *FINGER CROSSING*. Who doesn’t want a happy ending anyway? In the afternoon, some of the TurtleBots still are striking their last best shot to meet TurtleHeroes (donors) from outside campus. WE WANT TO “RING MORE LIVES”!

So I would like to sum up the key messages of conserving sea turtles:

Rule 1: Understand the species of sea turtle in Malaysia as well as their life cycle. It is very important as it will not be effective if one does not understand about the species that they are trying to protect.
Rule 2: Lend your helping hand to save sea turtles. Your unwanted old electronic gadgets can save turtles as a tiny little action may change everything. WWF-Malaysia is a non-profit organization so they need TurtleHeroes to support their conservation efforts.
Rule 3: Do not harm sea turtles. Sea turtles are harmless and beautiful creature that deserve to be saved.
Rule 4: Join WWF-Malaysia to become a turtle guardian. All you need to do is to donate money to support their equipment and field running costs, so that they can carry out the program smoothly and successfully.

Last but not least, please come to TAR UC Canteen 2 Concourse Area and show your support to TurtleBots. Today is the last day of the campaign! There are a lot of prizes waiting for you here! Let’s join us to be a TurtleHero as we really need your help. What goes around comes around, “Ring A Life”, Connectting Lives, Transforming Lives.
